Join Abby Fisher of Fisher Nantuckets for an incredible opportunity to learn the iconic Nantucket Lightship Basket weaving style where it all began, aboard the Nantucket Lightship/LV 112.
Introductory, 2.5-hour class to weave your own ½” width bracelet with a choice of acrylic end caps. Class fee includes a tour of Nantucket Lightship/LV 112, the largest US-built Lightship Vessel. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the United States Lightship Museum/ LV 112* to support the cost of the ongoing restoration and preservation.

Time: 1-3:30 PM
Location: Nantucket Lightship/LV 112; Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina, 256 Marginal St., East Boston, MA. Free on-site parking.
What’s Included:
- All materials for your 1/2" bracelet with acrylic ends (upgrades available for purchase)
- Light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Alcoholic beverages will be available for a minimal donation to the museum.
- A brief history of the Nantucket Lightship Basket
- Tour of the Nantucket Lightship/LV 112
What to expect:
- Weaving portion of class will take place in the Wardroom or Officers' Quarters of LV /112.
- The weaving portion runs approximately 90 minutes and is suitable for beginners.
- Remaining class time will be spent touring LV/112, enjoying refreshments, and taking in one of the best views of Boston Harbor.
